okay first of all just so you know im a Chevy guy and i say and see what ive experienced if Camaro Kills a mustang a Camaro Kills a mustang if a mustang kills a Camaro a mustang kills a Camaro i see and say it like it is even though im a Chevy guy okay first off the 1969 Yenko 427 Camaro had an actual Horsepower output of 500 @ the crank and the 450hp @ the wheels and the Camaro was also lighter than the mustang that year and the 1969 boss 429 mustang had 375hp @ the wheels and ive seen dyno proven results for the boss (bone stock) of like 404 hp @ the crank and like 376hp @ the wheels besides i dont believe there where any mustangs in the 1960′s,70′s that came with a factory and or (bone stock) horepower rating near 500hp the Yenko Camaro and Hemi’s where the only ones that came close to or had 500hp back then i mean the new (millenium 2005 2006 2007) Shelby gt500′s have 500hp (with a Supercharger that is ) so like i said i see and say it like it is 69′ Yenko Kills the 69′boss

i agree with u and i am also a chevy guy but u also have to put in the driver to i mean if the guy in the driver seat of the camaro can’t drive and the one in the mustange can then the mustange might just because the driver sucks. but i agree i thing that the comaro would stomp the mustang

on June 25th, 2009Your right. The Boss 429 wasn’t a drag car the way it came from the factory, it was designed to run on the super speedways at 200 mph and homlagated for the Torino. When NASCAR outlawed them, they were given to the drag boys who made them into 200 mph funny cars like the OUTLAW and TASCA FORD
They were never any good on the street unless tuned for it.
