it is definetely gonna be a project car. it for sure needs a new carb, and it has been sitting outside for the last like 4 years or so, it is really cheap, but is it worth it?
yeah it is a 351, windsor i think but not positive. the guy is selling it so cheap i think just cuz he doesn’t know how much to sell it for. he didn’t put it on the market, i just asked if he would ever sell it lol.

Well, I’m pretty sure it didn’t come with a 350, since Ford didn’t generally put GM engines in their vehicles.
I’d do a BIT more research on this.

on June 22nd, 2009At $600 it must have a world of problems with it. Crawl underneath and check the frame out-see how bad its rusted. If it looks ok, well thats a good thing-if its shot i’d forget it.
When you are talking about a car that age there could be a million things wrong. you are right-its a project car. if thats what you are looking for-something to tinker around with then go for it.
Hey and wait-like the other guy said-350-thats generally a Chevy engine. Mustangs from that era came with a variety of engines, 289s and 351s. Sure its not a 351?

BUY IT!
Then sort it out, you could double your money in just parting out key parts.
Look at the engine, Distributor in the back – Chevy (350), Distributor in the front – Ford (302, 351). Regardless, it’s a good buy. If it’s near S. Calif. I’ll pick it up if you pass….
Have a blast.

on June 26th, 2009Probably a 351 Windsor or Cleveland. Can you really go wrong for 600.00 if you are looking for a project car? Probably not unless it is a complete basket case. A little research online into what to look for can tell you what is and is not original on the car. If it is still original then it would be a good deal. If it is not then it is only a good deal if you are looking to rebuild an old Mustang.

on June 26th, 2009For $600 dollars even if it needs work it would probably be worth getting if you are willing to put money into it to fix it up, then you could possibly sell it for more or you could cherry it out and keep it as a luxury car.

on June 28th, 2009the engine is probably junk, if the frames and floors are rusty it’s not worth much..
