I guess they are the new benchmark for presenting style and charisma so a lot of new presenters especially feel they should copy the successful. Of course guys like Tiff have been presenting probably longer than Clarkson so already had their own style therefore stick to it.

Richard hammond cant drive for shit, he has no racing experience… he is just there to be entertaining. Both James May and Hammond dont know anything technical about cars.Fifth gear is how top gear was before 2002, where they focused on cars, not comedy. If you want to be informed about cars, wacth fifth gear. If you want to be entertained watch top gear.
